At Mareas, we believe that trusting,respectful relationships are the key to formulating nurturing, loving bonds with individuals whether it be children, families, couples or staff.  It is with this knowledge that we assist couples and families in finding their strengths in their relationship and help empower them in discovering the uniqueness of their own "dance". 

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) is based on the philosophy that relationships are at the core of human experience. EFT is usually a short term (8-20 sessions), structured approach to couples therapy.

This approach to seeing relationships – as an attachment bond – and shaping more loving relationships is leading the couple relationship field into a new understanding of romantic love.

EFT has been successful in helping couples who are coping with:
